In my blog I mentioned a story where a man proved he wasn't speeding by checking the data recorded by his GPS device. This is a great idea, and I'm thrilled to see someone using technology like this to avoid a wrongful ticket.
However, lets consider for a moment how a man who was not speeding received a ticket for going 17 mph over the limit! That means the police radar gun clocked this guy doing 62 when in fact he was going no faster than 45. It scares me just a little bit that there is this kind of inaccuracy in the tools used by police.
