Apparently subscribers to Comcast's Tripple Play will receive a free Wii. While I would love a free Wii, it's not close to enough to make me switch to Comcast. Everyone I know with Comcast complains constantly about the poor service.

Audiosurf
Ok, so this weekend while cut off from the world I spent a lot of time playing Audiosurf. While at first it was just entertaining, I've really started to get into it. I have to say it's really a lot of fun (especially techno songs). I think it can best be described as a mix between F-zero, Guitar Hero, and Bejewled. Yeah, I had a hard time picturing that at first too.

If Fonts Were People
Video
This is for the really nerdy folks out there. Or those of you who just spend way too much time picking the right font. Either way, this video is about if fonts were people.

I've Been On The Internet Too Long
Today while watching the news something happened that made me realize I've spent too much time on the internet. I was watching the weather report and as soon as they put up the weather radar image, I began looking to see if the patches of rain formed an emoticon. If you can sympathize with me, then you should spend more time reading this blog (what, did you really think I would tell readers to get off the internet?)
Blew Up His House While Spraying For Bugs
A man in New Jersey was spraying for insects in his apartment when the chemicals ignited and blew up 80 percent of the apartment. Well, all I really have to say about this is: the guy should have watched Mythbusters. They did a show about this very thing. And of course it was myth confirmed. Well, here's more proof. Thankfully the man was not injured. Maybe he'll learn from this. Hopefully others like him will as well.

New Chick-Fil-A Sauce
I ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A today and was surprised to see that they have a new sauce (though I can't say for sure just how new it is). At any rate, it's new to me. And I have to say it was quite good. It didn't have as strong of a bite as the traditional honey mustard, rather it had more of a smokey/barbecue flavor. Anyway, I'm hoping this is a new sauce, and that you all get a chance to try it soon.

Portal Mix
This is an awesome mix made from sounds from the game Portal. Watch the video for the song.
Aliens Cause Missile Malfunctions: Government Cover Up
Lary King interviews ex-military officers concerning a missile malfunction in 1969 which was allegedly caused aliens. NO WAY!!!! Aliens. And the government is involved!!! I can't believe it!!! This sounds like something out of X-Files. Which reminds me, the new X-Files movie comes out on Friday!!!! WooT.
But really...maybe the aliens are real. Or maybe it's a government plot being hidden behind the guise of aliens. Or maybe it's just a lot of hooey. I don't know. But go watch the video anyway.

Electronics Getting People Killed?
In the past two weeks, there have been an unusually high number of fatal lightning strikes in Russia. The over a dozen deaths include three sunbathers and a young boy riding on a bike. Some scientists believe the high rate of fatal lightning strikes is due to an increase in the number of electronic devices people us today.
Personally, I think rather than not carrying a cell phone or ipod, let's just not sunbathe or go bike riding during thunderstorms. I seem to recall being taught things like that as a kid.

Inside The Lego Factory
Wow, Gizmodo was able to get a tour of the inside of the Lego factory. Now tell me that wasn't every child's dream when they were growing up (ok so as kids we just wanted to play with the legos....heck, I still want to play with legos). Go watch the video of the glorious experience.

Whindshields To Help Older Drivers
This is a pretty cool concept. This technology is capable of displaying lines on the windshield of a car that will emphasize important parts of the road (such as the edge). The idea is that such technologies will assist older drivers with limited vision. Of course my question is do drivers who need this technology really need to be driving in the first place. Either way, the idea is really cool. Go check it out.

"We knew it would be big, but we never expected to dominate the

Warner Bros., which released "The Dark Knight." The movie should shoot
past the $200 million mark by the end of the week, he said.
